Monday through Wednesday is more chaotic for me since I have a 6 and a 3 month old to take care of. My son is an early to bed kinda guy (5:30-6pm if he didn't take a third nap), my niece is more cranky in the afternoon, and I need to make sure she is ready to go when my brother-in-law comes to pick her up.
From 4-6 in the afternoon I feel like I'm running around in circles trying to take care of two babies. Needless to say cooking dinner during these times is becoming impossible. When my husband comes home at 6:15ish, my niece has just left, our son has just gone down for the night, and I'm in an anxious rush trying to make dinner still (if I'm not in a heap on the couch).
As a result,
I've decided to try out more crockpot meals for these days of the week. Morning nap times are overlapping enough that I can do my devotions while both sleep and cook while my son is awake and playing.
Yesterday I started looking over recipes online and found a few to try out this week.
I'll post the recipes on
my Recipe Box site, if they turn out to be keepers, along with a picture of the final product.
Have any great slow cooker recipes that I could try out?
